Did you know that the 2027 CFWF conference will be held in Kelowna? It’s a great opportunity to show off one of the beautiful areas of our province to fellow agriculture journalists from across Canada. We are planning on a full day of professional development, two farm tours as well as a pre-conference tour that may or may not include a visit to a winery.
Here are some ideas we are considering for the professional development day:

- Writing compelling farm stories for urban audiences
- Data-driven storytelling
- Using AI tools responsibly in journalism
- Diversifying income streams (writing, speaking, consulting)
