Zoom may not be quite as fun as gathering in person, but have you seen the price of gas lately? With that in mind, we’re hosting a spring get-together the economical way, from home.
No driving across the province, no hotel rooms, no mileage claims, just a chance to catch up with fellow members, talk shop and share ideas. There’s no formal agenda, but plenty we could talk about:
• Copyright issues and online sites copying content without credit
• Theme ideas for the CFWF 2027 conference that BCFWA is hosting
• The new BCFWA website
• The future (or not) of time changes
• Networking and what’s happening in your world of agriculture journalism and communications?
We’ll open the Zoom room at 5:00 p.m., hoping your workday is done and you can join us with your favourite beverage. We’re informal like that. Hope to see you there — no fuel required.
Time: May 6, 2026 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pacific, or later if the crowd wants
