Entries are now open for the 2026 IFAJ Alliance Tire Star Prize, billed as the premier global awards recognizing excellence in agricultural journalism. Open to BCFWA members, the competition honours work published in 2025 across print, photography, audio, video, and digital formats.
Journalists may submit up to two entries, to be judged on storytelling and impact, across five themes: innovation, sustainability, technology, trade/economics, and rural culture. There are twelve awards, including Journalist of the Year and the Supreme Guild Award. Each award comes with a €500 ($800) prize. The deadline to apply is May 15, 2026.
