Our annual AGM will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026 following the Pacific Agriculture Show. We have narrowed down the location to two prime candidates and will update you on this year’s venue soon.
Dinner will kick off at 6 PM PST followed by the AGM, during which we will be bringing you up to speed on all the fabulous things we accomplished in 2025 — and what our big plans are for 2026 and beyond. You can be sure that we will be chatting about the 2027 CFWF conference that our chapter will be hosting in less than two years. Our key note speaker this year will be our very own Julia Smith, who will be enthralling us with tales from her trip to the recent IFAJ World Congress in Kenya.
As always, we will try to get all our business done by 8:30 PM, so that we can all relax and catch up with what our members have been up to since we last gathered together.
If you are planning on attending this year’s AGM, we ask that you please RSVP to bcfarmwriters@gmail.com by the end of Wednesday January 14, 2026, and let us know if you will be bringing anyone with you. While we currently have about 30 members, we are always happy to see that number increase, so if you know someone who might benefit from being a BCFWA member, please bring them along.
